Shoot

had the preliminaries for the annual CI's shoot today. spent the previous nite in unit due to the farewell cum passing out for the sec 4s.so i had about a grand total of 3 hours sleep before going for the shoot.(cheers all around) anyway,i tink i shot pretty well. 159/200. there were only about 3 other peeps who shot better den me, with scores of 165,162 and 160. so i guess i shud make it to the finals on sept 20 which only the top 5 from the prelims get to go to. wish me luck k? oh ya, murni was real unlucky todae. the weapon she was assigned to was faulty, and kept jamming. and the range officer refused to give her more time. yeah we had time limits for the shots, 12 secs for 5 shots. so tt's abt 1 shot every 2.4 secs which is HARD with a capital H. coz the recoil's strong, quite a few pounds of force. we had 30 shots in all, and the last 10 was 25 secs for 5 shots. finger get real tired pulling the trigger. so she had a quite bad score and was well upset about it as it wasn't her fault. mind u, she was the girls' individual champ last yr. this girl can shoot! anyway her score might just be able to get her to the finals this yr (triple digit score dun worry). as some of the girls' scores tt i saw were totally atrocious. there were double digit scores and worse, single digit! and some returned with blank target boards! totally -_____-! man! waste of ammo! so sis, although u prolly wun get to see this, dun take it too hard k? u will make it! heh. this's my first year taking part in the comp and if i get top five its really a dream come true man! so all wish me luck k? fingers crossed and all! =D
